Elections for the 401 Burrard SP Sub-Group Executive will be held at the AGM. Up to two (2) positions are available and the term of office is for 2 years. Being on the Executive is a great way to contribute to professional science in Canada and also a personal development opportunity. Nominations close at the meeting. If you expect to be absent, please e-mail your nomination form (attached) to Rita So, Chair, Elections Committee at 401burrardsp@gmail.com by Friday, September 19th, 2025.
Anyone wishing to propose changes to the 401 Burrard SP Sub-Group’s Constitution and By-Laws (e.g., the election procedures) are welcome to do so. The Constitution and By-Laws outline the requirements that need to be met with respect to any proposed changes to the same. Any proposed changes to Constitution and By-Laws need to meet with the approval of the PIPSC By-Laws Committee and approval of the PIPSC Board of Directors.
