- Discussion about potential ways for reimbursing members who attend executive meetings, how to cover certain costs (e.g. parking, incidentals).

- Regional Training Dates / Council / Branch
- BC-Yukon Regional Council meeting in Parksville on June 13th and 14th. Interested members can talk to Ted Mitchell-Molyneux about attending as a delegate.

- Visibility Items
- Rob indicated that visibility items have arrived and will be distributed at next SP Vancouver Sub-Group Executive Meeting.
- Networking / Outreach to CAPE, PSAC, other Sub-Groups (401 Burrard)
- Members are encouraged to reach out (email, Slack, etc.) to other people in the union regarding events and updates.
- Other sub-groups notified of Lunch & Learn (L&L) on leave codes (April 2nd, 2025). Notice has not been distributed but event has been posted on PIPSC website. This event is limited to SP members in the BC-Yukon region, as the presentation is based on the SP collective agreement.
- Ideas for what we want to do this year (movie mornings/nights, Labour Day, Pride, L&L, community clean-up, networking night/dinner with speakers)
- Noted that for all outreach events, there should be PIPSC messaging and an educational component for members. For upcoming spending on events, please notify Tim and the group to make sure that we do not duplicate efforts or go over budget.
- Community/Beach Clean-Up
- Noted that 401 Burrard group planning to do a beach clean-up outreach event.
- ACTION: Tanya to reach out to 401 group about potential ways for SP Vancouver Sub-Group to be involved.
- Labour Day and Pride
- Sub-Group supports spending up to $800 ($400 per event) for PIPSC visibility for 2025 Labour Day and Pride activities/events M/S/C
- Tanya to reach out to RD Morgan on visibility items for such events.
- Spring Outreach Activity
- Suggested to have goodies and treats available for union members in office buildings as a Spring outreach activity. All treats would need to have PIPSC messaging included with them.
- Sub-Group supports spending up to $400, based on $50 per building, for Sub-Group Executives or Sub-Group Stewards to provide treats / goodies for members to celebrate / recognize events this spring. M/S/C
- Movie Morning
- Branch currently planning movie night for PIPSC members.
- Sub-group supports spending up to $500 to support joint movie morning outreach event with PIPSC IT group for Vancouver SP Sub-Group members M/S/C
- ACTION: Rob to follow-up with PIPSC IT Group
- Bowling Event
- Bryan and Philip offered to help organize a bowling event for member outreach.
- Sub-group supports spending up to $400 to organize bowling outreach event for Vancouver SP Sub-Group members M/S/C
- ACTION: Check if additional funds available through Better Together
- Future L&Ls
- Noted that pre-made slide decks are available for members to present to others on basic (What is PIPSC?) and more advanced union-related topics
