Dear Members,
Your Bargaining Team met with the Employer on February 19, 20 & 21. The negotiations progressed smoothly and positively.
We successfully resolved key non-monetary issues, including stronger protections for scientific integrity, expanded access to second language learning, and improved opportunities for researchers to attend conferences. These gains reinforce members’ ability to conduct and share their work effectively while ensuring professional development remains a priority.
In preparation for the negotiations, your bargaining team met with Denise Doherty-Delorme, PIPSC Negotiator and Sara Delaney, PIPSC Research Officer. Together we drafted the proposals and will be formulating the monetary demand.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication. We are confident that our ongoing efforts will result in a fair and beneficial agreement for everyone. The next bargaining session is scheduled for March 12, 13 & 14, 2025.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact any member of the bargaining team.
