Hello everyone,
The Executives of your Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group invite you to meet in person and reconnect with your union at your 2025 Annual General Meeting, to be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Le Radoteux Resto-Lounge restaurant.
Mr. Jean Couillard, AFS Québec regional representative and member of the bargaining team, and Mr. Frédéric Durso, PIPSC Employment Relations Officer, as well as Michel Tobal, CS Group regional representative, will also be there to discuss national issues. Come join us and let’s talk about it!
Please confirm your presence before February 7 by sending an e-mail to vfs.shawinigan@pipsc.ca. The cost of the meal will be fully covered by your union. We will only be able to accommodate a total of 40 participants. Attendance prizes will be awarded to Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group members attending the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
Notice of Election – Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group
To ensure continuity in the Executive, it is proposed that the positions of the Vice-President and of the Secretary be filled for a one-year term. There will also be a one-year director’s position up for election. These positions will be up for election at the 2025 Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Nominations may be submitted in writing up to the start of the 2025 AGM, or from the floor at the AGM. To run for a position, a candidate must be a regular member of the Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group. All written nominations must be sent to Jean Couillard, assistant returning officer, at jcouillard@pipsc.ca. A member whose nomination has been submitted in writing but who doesn’t expect to attend the Sub-Group 2025 AGM must notify the assistant returning officer in writing.
