Vancouver Branch Annual General Meeting

Location: Steamworks 375 Water Street, Vancouver, British Columbia
Time: 4:30 p.m. Cash Bar (no host), Business 5:00 p.m., Dinner & Continuing Business 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
The Vancouver Branch Executive invites you to come and enjoy a relaxing and informative evening with fellow PIPSC members and staff of the Professional Institute. Morgan Cranny, Director for the BC/Yukon Region will be one of the guest speakers.
The AGM is an opportunity for all of us to come together to discuss common concerns and share our ideas for the Branch and PIPSC. We hope to see you at the AGM.
Note that this is a business meeting for Vancouver Branch members only.
Please confirm your attendance at the AGM by Thursday, November 13, 2024, by registering your name, work and home telephone numbers at timpowers52@gmail.com. We suggest that you confirm early, as seating for dinner is limited to 70 members at this facility and so we can make the final catering arrangements. A meal cannot be guaranteed for member dinner registrations received after November 13, 2024. Should your plans change and you find that you are unable to attend, please advise us at timpowers52@gmail.com as we are required to pay for all ordered meals, even if not consumed. At the time of registration, please indicate your meal choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian.
NOTICE OF ELECTION
Please be advised that there are six (6) positions open for election on the Vancouver Branch Executive. Note that the positions are to be filled for a two-year term for the years 2025 and 2026. In addition, due to an Executive member resignation in the past year, one position is open for a one-year term as well.
Below is the nomination form. Nomination forms must be complete and received by the Election Committee Chair by Thursday, November 13, 2024. Please follow the instructions on the Nomination form. Alternatively, nominations can be received from the floor of the AGM. If you have any questions regarding the elections, please contact the Chair of the Election Committee, Rob MacDonald at robertmacdonald@pipsc.ca.
