Hello everyone,
Your PIPSC Mauricie Branch Executive invites you to reconnect in person with each other and your
union at your 2022 Annual General Meeting, to be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 6:00
pm at the Casa Grecque restaurant in Shawinigan.
Mr. Pierre Potvin, President and Director of the Québec Region, will discuss various regional news
items of the past year. Ms. Stéphanie Fréchette, National Vice-President and former President of
CFIA S&A, will also discuss national issues such as Return to the Workplace. Come join us and let’s
talk about it!
Please confirm your presence before December 2, 2022, by sending an e-mail to
smalenfant@pipsc.ca. A meal allowance will be given to the attending members.
Notice of Election
All executive positions are up for election this year. To ensure continuity at the Executive level, it is
resolved that the positions of President, Treasurer and two Directors be filled for a 1-year term and the
positions of Vice President, Secretary and two Directors be filled for a 2-year term. These positions will
be up for election at the 2022 Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Nominations may be submitted in writing up to the start of the 2022 AGM, or from the floor at the AGM.
To run for a position, a candidate must be a regular member of the Mauricie Branch. Nominations must
be submitted by a member in good standing and seconded by another member in good standing.

All written nominations should be sent to the Election Secretary, Pierre Potvin at ppotvin@pipsc.ca. A
member whose nomination has been submitted in writing but who doesn’t expect to attend the Sub-
Group 2022 AGM shall notify the Election Chairperson in writing.
