Groups

Members belong to Groups, which include all the members of the same bargaining unit. Each Group operates under its own Constitution which must be consistent with Institute By-Laws. Members of the Group elect their own Executive.

As a member,your voice counts and you're encouraged to participate in the activities of your Group.

As mentioned in the previous webpost, the Pay Equity Committee at Destination Canada has published a draft pay equity plan. The plan is available at DC Intranet for comments and feedback until December 17, 2024.

The Pay Equity Committee met regularly over the past several months but were not able to meet the September 2024 deadline imposed by legislation. A subsequent extension for the final plan was requested for January 31, 2025.
