Hello WPEG members,
Your bargaining team, alongside the WTEG team, responded to the Company on non-monetary and monetary packages February 26th-28th, 2025. WPEG and the Company have come to an agreement on non-monetary and a few monetary topics. We continued to negotiate with the company on other monetary and non-monetary proposals and have a number of key issues to be worked through in upcoming negotiations. Our next negotiations are looking to be set at the end of March or April. As we continue to negotiate for a new contract, we would like to maintain awareness and send our solidarity towards CRPEG, as they have filed Notice of Impasse and will be taking a strike vote. Supporting CRPEG will help them negotiate a new deal. If you have any questions, concerns or issues you would like brought up during the negotiations, please contact any member of your bargaining team. We encourage you to remain engaged and share your thoughts with us. Your input and solidarity play a vital role in strengthening our position at the bargaining table.
