Lunch & Learn: Potential changes to current Sick Leave system/Employee Wellness Support Program - Wednesday, April 25, 2018

At the last round of Collective Bargaining, PIPSC negotiated a Memorandum of Agreement with Treasury Board and both Parties agreed to negotiate the creation of an Employee Wellness Support Program (EWSP), to improve employee wellness and ensure the safe and successful reintegration of employees into the workplace after prolonged absences due to illnesses or injury. If mutually agreed and ratified by the respective Groups (including SP, RE, NR and AV), EWSP will replace the current sick leave system. PIPSC has established an EWSP Advisory Team to direct negotiations with TBS.
