CANMET SE – Sub Group Executive Meeting Minutes - August 29, 2023

The meeting was called by the President J. Kang to discuss following items:
Thanksgiving lunch for lab team – This is a way of saying thanks to all staff who had contributed to the continued service during COVID lockdown. It is to be planned for the first week of October.
RES AGM meeting in November. This year no election is required and making it a lunch will allow to have more participation from members. Last of week of November is being targeted.
The committee also discussed talking points for the upcoming joint Union-Management discussion at CMAT. This meeting is called by the management including PIPSC and PSAC Stewards. This is the first in-person meeting after the Covid lockdown.
