RE Group - Mohammad Khakbazan

Dr. Mohammad Khakbazan is a Research Scientist, at Brandon Research and Development Centre. He has been working for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada since September 2001. He has a master and a Ph.D. degree in bio-resource economics from University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Khakbazan is an executive board member of PIPSC Winnipeg and Southern Region. In the last couple of years, he has organized several PIPSC events for members in Brandon and surroundings. He is very interested in RE group activities and has been invited as a delegate to a number of RE group AGM meetings. He is an Adjunct Professor at University of Saskatchewan and Brandon University, an executive board member of Canadian Agricultural Economics Society, and a member of Soil and Water Conservation Society, Science and Policy committee.  He is also associate editor for the Journal of Soil and Water Conservation. Dr. Khakbazan has published or co-authored 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and his research has been reported in numerous abstracts, presentations/posters, and technology transfer items.
