AGM Notice and Call for Nominations – November 23, 2018
NRC-LS GROUP AGM
All NRC employees who are part of the NRC Library Science (LS) Group and are members of PIPSC are invited to attend the 2018 NRC-LS Group Annual General Meeting (AGM).
DATE: Friday, November 23, 2018
TIME: 12:00 (noon) to 1:00 p.m. (Ottawa time)
PLACE: Ottawa - Building M-55, Room 253 and by teleconference (details to follow).
Since lunch will be provided, please notify Jean-Yves Mailloux by November 19, 2018, if you’ll be attending in person or by teleconference, and mention any special dietary requirements. If you have food allergies or for members outside Ottawa, you have the option of buying a lunch under $10 and send your receipt to Dave Clark for reimbursement. Details for the teleconference will be available the day before the AGM.

- Approval of the Agenda
- Adoption of the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
- Report of the Chairperson
- Annual Financial Report
- Report of the Electoral Officer
- Presentation by PIPSC

If there are questions or issues you wish to raise, please submit them to Dominique Charbonneau by November 19, 2018.
ELECTIONS
This year, the elections are for:
- One (1) Secretary with a term of office of two (2) years.
- One (1) Treasury with a term of office of two (2) years.
- One (1) Member-at-Large with a term of office of one (1) year.
Nominations must be received no later than October 29, 2018 at 4:00 pm (Ottawa time).
