We are pleased to announce the PIPSC  NEB Group's AGM will be held both virtually and in-person at the CER Conference Centre on December 11, 2024, from 12PM to 2PM Mountain Time.

A pizza lunch will be served (gluten-free pizza and salad will also be served). The AGM will include an update from the executive and an election for the following positions*:

President (2 year term)

Secretary (1 year term)

Treasurer (2 year term)

Member-At-Large (1 year term)

Member-At-Large (2 year term)

* Please note that additional positions could potentially become vacant during the election if incumbents successfully run for other positions.

Participation 

In order to participate, including voting in the election, you must be a registered member of the union. If you have never received an email from PIPSC, you may not have proactively applied, simply complete the membership application.

Advanced Call for Nominations

Advance nominations for one of the four (4) eligible executive positions will be accepted prior to the AGM and must be received by PIPSC at mammais@pipsc.ca, no later than November 25, 2024 using the attached form.  Should voting be required, the election will occur at the NEB Group AGM on December 11, 2024. Nomination Form

Description of Eligible Executive Positions:

President - The President shall call and preside at all meetings of the Group and of the Group Executive, and shall present to the Annual General Meeting a report on Group activities.

Secretary - The Secretary shall be responsible for sending notices of all meetings of the Group and of the Group Executive. The Secretary shall record minutes of meetings, including attendance, maintain records and correspondence of the Group and of the Group Executive, and shall ensure that a copy of the minutes are filed with the Institute.

Treasurer - The Treasurer shall maintain the financial records of the Group as required by Institute policy, prepare a financial report for each meeting of the Group Executive and each General Meeting of the Group, submit a detailed financial statement to the Institute as required, and prepare the request for the annual allowance of the Group. Copies of the financial report shall be available to all Group members.

Member-At-Large - Members-at-Large shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Executive.
