We want to update you on the NAV Canada Group Executive’s latest important activities.
Collective agreement published
The collective agreement is now available on Central and the PIPSC NAV Canada Group page. The agreement, which expires April 30, 2026, includes the pay scales for our new classification system, PIPSC 1 to 5.
Return to Office
Your executive team sent a survey to all PIPSC members to obtain your feedback on NAV Canada’s on-site three-day-per-week return to office plan. The survey was sent on April 15, 2025 and 429 members filled it out.
Your feedback was extremely valuable. It provided detailed data and clear insights into how the Executive Management Committee (EMC) direction plan will affect our bargaining unit. The executive team will use this critical information to strategize, plan the next steps, and engage in discussions with the company as implementation plans for the return to office are developed.
We recognize members’ concerns about the planned three-day on-site requirement and are committed to representing your interests as the consultation process progresses in the coming weeks.
NAV Canada has provided several updates and an FAQ. We encourage you to read these and contact a steward if you have any concerns or questions. A list of stewards is on the PIPSC website.

PIPSC BBQ
Members are invited to our annual BBQ on July 16 at 1601 Tom Roberts. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the union, this is your chance to come together, build community, and celebrate the work we all do. Special guests from senior leaders, labour relations and other bargaining agent leaders will join us. If you did not receive an email invitation, please contact Lori Goulding (lorid@pipsc.ca).
Steward all-hands
Your stewards will meet in Montreal from June 25 to 26 for the annual steward all-hands meeting. This is an opportunity for stewards to meet, collaborate, and discuss important issues that relate to all members. Several representatives from labour relations will attend part of the meeting. It’s an important time for stewards to bring members’ concerns to the attention of NAV Canada and to work together to find solutions.
If you have any questions, please email nav_can_grp_exec@pipsc.ca.
