As you may know, the CFIA-IN Bargaining Team has not yet started negotiating a new collective agreement.
On August 23, 2108, we sent the notice to bargain to the employer, but it has not been possible to engage in successful negotiations with the CFIA over the past few months.
You have seen the gains that the PIPSC Central Bargaining Team has won for many PIPSC members. As we move forward to get the best possible deal for CFIA-IN, we will do everything in our power to include those gains in our next collective agreement.
We put the CFIA on notice — if they try to offer less than what has already been agreed at the central table, it will only increase our determination.
