Your Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that on December 14, 2018 a Tentative Agreement was signed with the Employer, completing this round of negotiations. The new agreement will be four years, expiring June 20, 2022. The economic increases are:
- *1.5% on June 20, 2018,
- *1.5% on June 20, 2019,
- *1.5% on June 20, 2020,
- 2.5%* on June 20, 2021.
The Employer has agreed to align the first three (3) years of economic increases with those of the AV Group in the Core Public Administration (CPA), if the increases negotiated in the CPA are greater than those stipulated above.
On top of other incremental improvements, your Bargaining Team has also secured a global Health and Wellness benefit available to all employees without stipulation. The Tentative Agreement will be summarized in detail shortly for the member’s review in preparation for ratification.
There will be a town hall meeting on January 3, 2019 at noon in the Canada Room on the 2nd floor to answer any questions related to the tentative agreement before the online ratification vote opens!
