Two years already since the last Annual General Meeting. This implies a complete renewal of the Shawinigan Sub-Group Executive.
On Thursday, March 24th at 5:30 p.m., please take 30 minutes of your time to come and vote for your new executive and welcome them. Jean Couillard, AFS regional representative, will come and give an update on the current union situation.
Please find attached the Notice of Election and Nomination Form. It's more important than ever to get involved in your union and be part of the local executive.
Please confirm your attendance and, if you are interested, send your application by e-mail to vfs.shawinigan@gmail.com.

PIPSC SHAWINIGAN AFS SUB-GROUP ELECTIONS
The terms of office for all positions on the Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group Executive have expired.
We are now accepting nominations for the following positions:
Two-year terms
President
Treasurer
Director
One-year term
Vice-President
Secretary
Director
To run for a position, the candidate must be a regular member of the Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group and must be or become a steward within the next year.
The duties of the Sub-Group Executive, including the positions listed above, are listed in Section 7 of the proposed Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group By-Laws. You can get a copy of the By-Laws from the Election Chair.
