1.Opening remarks
- Gerlando Renna called the meeting to order.
2.Approval of the minutes of the September 26, 2018 meeting
- René Boudreau moved that the minutes be approved. Seconded by Gerlando Renna.
3. Alexandre Thomas announced the following:
- Access to the account was received.
- The $XX allocation for 2018 was received.
- A cheque for $XX for the lunch at the last meeting was received.
Alexandre Thomas will prepare monthly bank reconciliations with expenses.
Alexandre Thomas will prepare the monthly account statements and financial statements.
Alexandre Thomas will ask PIPSC for reimbursement of the lunch for the last meeting.
Alexandre Thomas will submit the invoice for the last meeting’s lunch.
Alexandre Thomas will send the request for additional funding to Doug Mason.
4. Preparations for the first Annual General Meeting
Date: February 2019 (a Tuesday, probably February 12, 2019)
- Location: Le Gesù (2 drinks, traiteur+, Costco)
- Election Chair: Ronald Pétion
- Number of guests: Survey with advance registration (closing 1 week prior)
- Send information to PIPSC at least 3 weeks before AGM
- Send information to CED January 11, 2019
- Purchase items for draw: will not be considered
- Election procedures: 8+ Executive members based on the maximum number of votes
Gerlando Renna will contact Debbie XXX for her availability for the AGM.
Gerlando Renna will request additional funding from the Branch, Group and Region.
Alexandre Thomas will obtain the updated list of members of the CED AFS Sub-Group.
5. Outstanding grievance
- Executive involvement regarding grievances
Gerlando Renna: current CS grievance
René Boudreau: current grievance will be settled
Alexandre Thomas: probable grievance (dual acting)
Inga Chiriliuc: Gerlando Renna will assist with a grievance
Gerlando Renna will share his experience in the dual acting situation
Gerlando Renna will ask Sophie Laporte to assist with a grievance
6. Employee/management consultation session on the staffing redesign project
- Alexandre Thomas attended the meeting.
7. Union/management meeting on November 15, 2018
- Computers and other equipment not up to date
- Lack of screens (Ringtail)

- Full uniform for searches
- Process for surveillance

René Boudreau will ask Steve Parent if he can make a presentation on the negotiations
