2023 CA Information Sessions
On September 16, our AFS Bargaining Team reached a tentative agreement with the CRA. Chris Roach, the AFS Atlantic Region Representative for AFS, and a member of our Bargaining Team, will be in the Moncton office on November 7, 2023 to present an in-person information session on the tentative agreement and to answer any questions you may have. All members of the AFS Moncton subgroup are encouraged to attend.
Bathurst members please note: a separate communication will be sent to you regarding the information session.
Our subgroup has grown! We now have 79 members, including colleagues who were previously part of the Bathurst subgroup. Due to this growth in membership, Chris will offer two sessions for the presentation:
Room 214 A&B – 10:00 AM
Room 214 A&B – 1:30 PM
Space is limited to 40 people for each session.
The employer allows up to two hours for each session. Please use time code 6990. You are not required to book a desk through eConcierge to attend an information session.
The AFS Bargaining Team unanimously endorses the acceptance of this agreement. The agreement provides for a one-time lump-sum payment of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) to incumbents of positions within the PIPSC-AFS Group on the date of signing of the collective agreement.
Once the information sessions have been completed across the country, AFS members will receive a voting key by email. Please ensure that you have signed your membership card. You must be a member prior to the date of the signing of the agreement to receive the lump-sum payment.
