Branch Resolution 1
TITLE: Resolution to Amend the By-Laws of the PIPSC Hamilton CRA Branch
AUTHOR: Joanne Haslip, Secretary of the PIPSC Hamilton CRA Branch
WHEREAS the current By-Laws of the PIPSC Hamilton CRA Branch were last approved on by the PIPSC Board of Directors on August 16, 2014 and the current national Board of Directors approved model is effective December 22, 2015; and WHEREAS there are several differences in either the wording or the numbering of clauses between these two documents;
Therefore be it RESOLVED that the PIPSC Hamilton CRA Branch approve the changes to the current by-laws as documented in the Draft By-Laws posted on the 3rd and 6th floor bulletin boards (and available from Joanne Haslip),
And be it RESOLVED that the PIPSC Hamilton CRA Branch Executive will forward the approved changes to the by-laws to the PIPSC By-Laws and Policy Committee for approval by the Board of Directors.

WHEREAS the current By-Laws of the Hamilton AFS Subgroup were last approved on by the PIPSC Board of Directors on August 16, 2014 and the current national Board of Directors approved model is effective April 13, 2018; and WHEREAS there are several differences in either the wording or the numbering of clauses between these two documents;
Therefore be it RESOLVED that the Hamilton AFS Subgroup approve the changes to the current by-laws as documented in the Draft By-Laws posted on the 3rd and 6th floor bulletin boards (and available from Joanne Haslip),
And be it RESOLVED that the Hamilton AFS Subgroup Executive will forward the approved changes to the by-laws to the PIPSC By-Laws and Policy Committee for approval by the Board of Directors.
