Amanda Hicks - 2023 Election Autobiography

I have sat on several groups within NAV CANADA representing the interests of PIPSC members. In the past I have been part of the JWCC - Joint working council committee for AIM members, their respective union representatives and management resolving joint issues.  

Currently I serve as President on the NAV CANADA West Sub-Group and Pay Equity Group.  As President I facilitate several events for group members and coordinate with the main group on shared initiatives. Pay Equity is legislation required by government to shine a light on gender inequality when it comes to pay and involves all unions at NAV CANADA and Management representatives.

I have brought issues forward as a PIPSC steward for six years. Moving forward I would like to focus on relationship building between diverse mindsets and groups.
