The Ontario region Basic Steward Training will be held on Thursday, October 19 to Saturday October 21, 2017 at the Grand Hotel and Suites in Toronto.
The Ontario Region Steward Council will be held on Friday September 15 and Saturday September 16, 2017 at the Westin Prince, Toronto located at 900 York Mills Road, Toronto. The Council will be one and one half [1 ½] days, starting on Friday at 1:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Council will continue all day Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 5:00 p.m. No scheduled events will take place on Saturday evening.

Much to mine and many people’s surprise, Donald Trump was elected President of the United States of America.
While Trump has fashioned himself as a champion of the working man and is talking about bringing manufacturing jobs back to America, it is safe to say that he is not a fan on organized labour.
These By-Laws, in general, pertain to matters of Group organization not covered by the By-Laws of The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada and are made pursuant to those By-Laws.
