I have been an active steward since Oct 2001.

I have been the Calgary Area Sub group President for 4 consecutive AGM's and brought this sub group to active status and am a voice for the younger IT professionals in western Canada

I have been in the past the Prairie/NWT Regional President for two consecutive terms.

My main focus is the core is all about the following union activities
further the professional interests of the members
protect the status and standards of our profession
represent the views of the members on matters affecting them
ensure that the interests of the Group are represented in all proceedings of the employer.
