Seyed Rastaghi - Nav Canada Group

I’ve Master of Aerospace Engineering with over 18 years of experience in the aviation and aerospace industry. I’ve worked in diverse working environments: government, private, and unionized private companies. I decided to step forward and become a steward more than two years ago in order to help my colleague deal with challenges they face in the workplace. During the last couple of years, I took every single opportunity to improve my understanding of rules, regulations, by-laws, etc. related to NAV CANADA group and PIPSC, as well as the challenges of other groups. I’ve participated in different workshops and training. Now, I think I’m ready and prepared to expand my work with union as part of the NAV CANADA Group executive to not only bring new ideas, share my knowledge and experience with other executive member, improve terms and conditions of work at NAV CANADA, but also to voice the concerns of my fellow colleagues with Nav Canada senior management.
