Ryan Thiemann
Hello, my name is Ryan Thiemann, and I’m asking for your support as I seek to join the IT Group Executive. Right now, I have the privilege of serving as the Regina Branch President, IT Sub-Group President, a member of the ITSP Committee, and as a Steward. I live in Regina SK and have spent the last 20 years working with the federal government in various IT roles, including with Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and currently with eHealth Indigenous Services Canada.
I’ve been involved with union activities since the beginning of my career, and in 2015, I took on a more active role by joining the Regina IT sub-group executive and later the branch executive. The connections I’ve made with so many caring, passionate people over the years have truly been a blessing. I’ve had the chance to work with amazing colleagues locally, regionally, and nationally, and I’m constantly inspired by the dedication of PIPSC volunteers and staff.
As I move forward, I’m committed to fostering the values of opportunity, diversity, and experience. I believe that Branches and Sub-groups should be flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of their members, while also preparing to face new challenges in the future. This growth happens when fresh, diverse perspectives come together. I want to continue growing and improving so I can better serve our members, and joining the IT Group Executive would be an exciting opportunity to expand my skills and contribute to our collective goals.
I’d be honored to have your support in this journey, and I appreciate you taking the time to read my message.
In Solidarity,
Ryan Thiemann
