Rohit Chhabra - CFIA-VM

Working as a Supervisory Veterinarian with Canadian Food inspection Agency of Canada Since fiscal year 2007, Rohit became progressively more engaged in union activities, first as a  member of CFIA VM PIPSC group, then steward.  Rohit    later became member of Alberta VM sub Group, Rohit Became President of Alberta VM Subgroup in 2018. Currently Rohit is Vice President Alberta VM Sub Group since 2019. Rohit is current Member of Professional Recognition and Qualification Committee (PRQC) since 2019. Rohit Is current Executive member of Lethbridge PIPSC branch as Treasurer 2020. 

Rohit is a dedicated paradigm for the rights of public service employees. Over the years, he has worked hard to help members for their questions on collective agreements and resolved many issues with management.

From the beginning of his mandate, Rohit has sought to introduce new and innovative ways to address the concerns of co-workers.  He has also been instrumental in implementing new member engagement strategies.''
