ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

- Call to order
Benoit Pelletier greeted the 20 some Sherbrooke Branch members at the meeting. Three members from the Lennoxville Branch had also come to hear Yvon Brodeur and Stéphane Aubry.
The meeting was held at the Salon du Billard, 1239 Denault Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1H 2P6.
- Reading and approval of the agenda
Benoit Pelletier read the agenda.
No amendments were made.

- Reading and approval of the minutes of the previous AGM (May 4, 2017)
The participants unanimously agreed not to have the minutes of the May 4, 2017 meeting read because they had been distributed to the members prior to the AGM.

- President’s Report
Benoit Pelletier presented his report. It had been distributed before the AGM as well. No questions were asked.
A copy of the report was submitted to the Secretary.
- Financial report
Alain Couture presented the financial report. As of December 31, 2017, the Sherbrooke Branch’s bank account balance was $308.29.

Presentation by Yvon Brodeur
Mr. Brodeur spoke of the various issues PIPSC dealt with over the past year, as well as the many challenges that will be faced in the coming year.
He responded to a number of questions from members.
Presentation by Stéphane Aubry
Mr. Aubry gave a talk on the Employee Wellness Support Program that could replace our current sick leave plan.
He answered several questions from members. He also handed out some PIPSC items to the members.
