1)OPENING REMARKS

Patrick welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming.
Present: John Monti, Julia Laurent, Sandra Robalo, Luke McCrory, Patrick Sioui, Ronald Pétion, René Boudreau, guest: Steve Parent.
Absent: Marie-Lou Buteau.

2)READING AND ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA

It was decided that Other business would remain open.

3)REVIEW OF AGM PRESENTATIONS

i)Regional Representative: Steve Parent summarized the report he will be presenting at the 2018 AGM. Key items are Phoenix, Negotiations and Staffing.
ii)President: Patrick gave an overview of his report. The main items are the visibility activities, grievances and consultation.
iii)Treasurer: John presented his reports.
iv)&Other: Nothing to report.

4)JOINT SUB-GROUP/BRANCH AGM - FINALIZATION OF PLANS

i)Ronald summarized the plans: We will have a microphone and projector, and the music will be provided through a volunteer's phone. Patrick offered to do it. We are expecting between 65 and 70 participants.

5)SUMMARY OF UPCOMING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS L&LS ON PHOENIX

i)Julia summarized the invitation email she received from PIPSC regarding a session that will allow us to give Lunch and Learns on the Phoenix situation.Patrick is going to sign up.

6)FINANCIAL REPORTS, MONTRÉAL CENTRE BRANCH - JOHN MONTI

John presented his report and made suggestions for his presentation at the 2018 AGM.

7)OTHER BUSINESS

We discussed union renewal.We will have to recruit more aggressively in 2018.
