Olivia Leung

My name is Olivia Leung and I am seeking re-election to the executive, not as a Member at Large, but in a new role, as the NCR regional representative.

During my last 2 terms on this executive, I mentored new stewards, organized member engagement events, assisted with Group communications, and led steward appreciation initiatives. I could best be described as someone who is approachable, who has fresh ideas with great problem-solving skills and someone who doesn’t shy away from difficult situations. I have a positive attitude and enjoy being of service and finding ways to resolve issues collaboratively. I enjoy organizing events and leading initiatives. My PIPSC experience includes being a steward since 2014, and being an executive on various boards, including the CP Group, the CP Gatineau Subgroup, the CP Bargaining Team and the DND NCR Branch.

I always strive for positive changes in whatever role I’m in. I work at DND in the PG Community Management Office and I was a long standing vice president for a non-profit community association. Over the years I have built strong relationships with members in both the Ottawa and Gatineau subgroups, so I believe I am well suited for this role.
