Although I am new to the Federal Government (2021), I have been in public service for over 15 years and in IT for over 20 years. I am a father of 4 girls (yes, all girls). I have a Master’s of Public Administration (MPA(M)) degree from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Commerce degree (B.Comm) from Saint Mary’s university and various IT certifications. I attended the winter event at Hatfield Farms, and my family and I enjoyed it very much. That’s why I’m applying, I want to contribute to PIPSC and its members. Hopefully COVID will go away soon and we can have a meet and greet for all members.
I like to contribute to my community and to improving my workplace, I’ve done this in the past at the Province of Nova Scotia by being the Chair of the Health and Safety Committee as well as the Captain of the Big Bike Ride for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. I like to meet people and to experience new challenges. I feel I can contribute and improve to PIPSC and to its members.
