2021 CP Election_Olivia Leung

Hello CP Group!  My name is Olivia Leung and I am hoping you will re-elect me for the position of Member at Large.  

During this last term as a Member at Large on the Group Executive, I mentored new stewards, organized several member engagement events, assisted with communications, and led steward appreciation initiatives.  I have worked with many members over the years, by either helping them through difficult situations, providing advice or simply lending an ear to those who need it. I could best be described as someone who is approachable, someone who presents fresh ideas with workable solutions, and someone who doesn’t shy away from difficult situations.  I have a positive attitude and enjoy being of service and finding ways to resolve issues collaboratively.  I enjoy organizing events and leading initiatives for you while being financially prudent with the stewardship of your dues.  My PIPSC experience includes being a steward since 2014, member at large for DND NCR Branch since 2015, member at large on the CP Gatineau Subgroup since 2017 and member at large on the CP Group since 2018.

I also strive to work for positive change in my workplace, my community and any environment where I feel I can make a difference. I currently work at National Defence in the PG Community Management Office contributing to positive changes to the workforce development of PGs. Outside of work, I have been a long standing vice president for my community association where I foster positive transformation within my community. 

Re-elect me as Member at Large,  so that I can continue to hear from you and tailor events and initiatives to best serve your needs.  You can count on me to serve the entire CP membership  by ensuring that balance, respect and accountability are the cornerstone of all decision-making.
