NRCan NCR Branch Invitation
Did you know?
The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) is turning 100 on February 6th, 2020. That's right, PIPSC was founded in 1920. With over 60,000 members, it is the largest union in Canada representing scientists and professionals employed at the federal and some provincial and territorial levels of government.
PIPSC was founded to protect the interests of professional public employees and became a bargaining agent following the implementation of the Public Service Staff Relations Act (PSSRA) in 1967.
To mark this milestone anniversary, the NRCan-NCR Branch would like to invite you to a luncheon celebration. The lunch will take place on February 13th at The Prescott (379 Preston Street, Ottawa ON K1S 4N1) for NRCan-NCR members at the Booth Street complex and, on February 27th at the Mandarin Restaurant (150B Katimavik Rd, Ottawa ON K2L 2N2) for NRCan-NCR members at Bells Corners. You may only attend one luncheon celebration, so please RSVP accordingly.
Please register here indicating your name and membership number. If you do not have your membership number, you may request it at the following address https://www.pipsc.ca/member-tools/find-your-membership-number. Please make sure to specify the date of the lunch you would like to attend, based on your workplace location.
Registration will close when we reach a maximum of 60 members at The Prescott and 40 members at the Mandarin or one week before the event whichever comes first.
Space is limited, so register early. Only valid registrations will be acknowledged. Attendance will be taken.
