- CFIA employee for over 19 years working as a Senior Compliance Officer in the Fish Inspection Program followed by Imported & Manufactured Food Program / Food Safety
- Active S&A steward, 2005, 2011 - present
- CFIA S&A Mississauga Sub-group president, 2009 – present
- Interim Member-at-Large S&A Group executive, Bargaining team and Consultation team member (2019)
- Represented members at local and regional OSH and UMCC meetings with current membership in the Toronto Region UMCC.
- Advanced Steward training on Bullying and Harassment and Duty to Accommodate – 2017, Consultation – 2012, Workforce adjustment – 2012, Basic steward training - 2012
Through ongoing dedicated and active support for members as a steward, at the sub-group and regional levels, I am seeking your vote for this crucial upcoming term for collective bargaining, especially given the much anticipated continued work on the SR review. I envision that the path forward must include unbiased support for each other, through constructive and open dialogue, as we truly are ‘better together’. I would be honoured to represent your interests on the PIPSC S&A Group executive.
