Nikhil Gandhi – Acclaimed President | BCFHNA Group Executive 2026 Election

Nikhil is a grateful, uninvited guest on the traditional, unceded, and ancestral territories of the Kwantlen, Musqueam, and Tsawwassen First Nations. He has been an integral member of the BCFNHA Group Executive for three years as a Member at Large, Secretary, and Treasurer. He is also an executive member of the PIPSC BC-Yukon Region and Vancouver Branch, and a member of the PIPSC Bylaws and Policies Committee. He has organized multiple member engagement events and Lunch and Learns for our Group. As a Steward, he has helped several members resolve workplace issues, and was recently recognized as the BC-Yukon Region Steward of the Year. Nikhil's goal is to now better represent and advocate for our members in the broader PIPSC union as Group President. His vision is to continue to increase member engagement, awareness, and organization to ensure we keep improving our working conditions over the long term. This includes better coordination around Occupational Health and Safety, representation at various levels of PIPSC, and advanced bargaining preparation. He also intends to prioritize furthering cultural safety and reconciliation in our Group's work. Nikhil is grateful to be nominated for Group President this year and encourages all members to participate in the election process.
