The CFIA-VM election committee has verified the results for the 2026 elections, where 108 ballots were cast in the election. The following candidates have been elected to the CFIA-VM executive for a two-year term, and will take office immediately:
- Paolete Soto – BC/Yukon representative (acclaimed)
- William Sean Marshall – NCR representative (acclaimed)
- Karla Furey – Member-at-Large
There were no candidates for the Prairies/NWT representative position. Pamela Kaakee has been appointed to this position as per Bylaw 6.8.2.
If a position, other than the President, becomes vacant for any reason, the remaining members of the Executive may select an eligible member of the group to fill that vacancy until the next election.
