Call for Nominations: Two (2) Member at Large Positions for the Halifax IT Subgroup

Dear Members,

The Halifax IT Subgroup is officially opening the call for nominations for two (2) Member at Large positions to serve on the Subgroup Executive.
 

The Member at Large plays a crucial role by representing the general membership, providing unique perspectives, and participating actively in key discussions and decisions.
 

Term Length: 3 years Time Commitment: 1 hour long meeting bi-monthly approximately plus any additional events you volunteer for.
 

Key Responsibilities Include:

●       Attending scheduled Subgroup meetings.

●       Serving as a voice for the general membership.

●       Completing tasks assigned by the President.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about member engagement and are willing to dedicate their time and expertise. All members in good standing are eligible for nomination.
 

Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.

How to Nominate: To nominate yourself or another member*, please submit the following to Halifaxitsubgroup@pipsc.ca with the subject line "Member at Large Nomination":

1.     Nominee's full name and contact information.

2. A brief statement of interest (max 250 words) outlining the nominee's qualifications and why they wish to serve in this role.

The deadline for all nominations is October 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM ADT.
