PIPSC Bathurst Sub-Group Meeting Minutes - June 25, 2025

Present:

Remi Parent, President Gervais Boudreau, Member at large  

Rachel Doucet, Vice-President Sylvie LeBlanc, Member at large

Mario Doucet, treasurer/Secretary

1.0 Roll Call

Remi Parent opened the meeting at 6  p.m.  

2.0 Approval of the Agenda 

Remi Parent asked if anyone had any additions to the agenda. 

3.0 Approval of the minutes from Previous Meeting 

Previous minutes reviewed, no errors or omissions noted. Mario moved for approval of previous minutes.  Seconded by    Sylvie. Carried.

4.0 Action Items

Planning for AGM and Christmas Social 

• Food and beverages for event, door prizes
• Moncton asked if we wanted to coordinate our AGM with theirs, inviting new elected president Rob Scott.  Tentative dates are
  • Oct 7,8,9 sept date proposes 10 or 11
  • Oct 14, 15, 16
• Northern Branch wants to join us for the Christmas Social this year, need to pick a date. Last year we had our social event on Tuesday Dec 10^th from 6 to 9 PM. Whe book Joey Pub for Christmas party for Friday 5 Dec

5.0 Finance Review  

6.0 New Business

• Hoodies, one for each executive and extra for gifts.  
• Activity ideas for 2025 “Lunch & Learn” event (gifts for members ideas..)

1. OHS & Grievance info session (Timelines to submit etc.)
2. Navigar and AI training  will be the next session training propose

There being no further business,  Rachel motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Gervais. The meeting was adjourned at  7 pm.
