Pamela Kaakee

Having dedicated her career to service, Pam has made significant contributions in the fields she loves. For the past three years, she has worked with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), where she plays a vital role in safeguarding Canada's food supply. Prior to this, she amassed 13 years of experience in a unionized job, a path influenced by her father who was also unionized.

Since November 2024, Pam has served as a steward and is now the vice-president of the Lacombe/Red Deer branch. Her leadership and commitment to advocating for workers' rights are deeply rooted in her upbringing and personal values.

In her spare time, Pam channels her compassion and love for animals by working at a small animal clinic evenings and weekends. She finds joy and fulfillment in providing care and support to pets and their owners. Outside of work, Pam is an avid animal lover, sharing her home with her husband, two horses, two dogs, and three cats.

Her dedication to both her professional and personal passions reflects a life committed to making a positive impact in our community and beyond.
