The recent national PIPSC AGM was not a good one. Much stalling over fine points; a small group of speakers made comments on multiple issues; few resolutions passed. One good result: A motion to increase RMG dues by 50% did not go through.

Joint meeting with Fraser Valley Chapter

Rick Gammer and Marie from the Fraser Valley Chapter to work with Lyle and Raj to organize a joint social event.

April 2024 AGM

New executive to be elected. Signing authorities a potential issue. Raj and Wayne to go to BMO today to add Wayne to the current list of signers.

Round-table Canada Life: Lyle had a very positive phone call to resolve multiple issues. Barbara’s experience not very good. Wayne experiencing delays. It was noted that effective January 1, 2024, the maximum dispensing fee to be reimbursed will be $8.00. Also, prescription payments will be based on the cost of generic drugs. There may be a process for exceptions.
Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 1:40 PM. MSC
