Hello WTEG Members,
Thank you all for your patience throughout the negotiations. It’s been a long process, as both sides are working hard to reach an agreement.
Your Bargaining Team participated in its fifth session of negotiations with CNL on May 1 through May 3. During this session, the parties continued the work on monetary and non-monetary improvements. We have reached agreements on our Work Boot Allowance, Respirator Pay, Performance Pay Career Progression Grid, and On-Call. All of the details will be provided once the negotiations conclude. We still have a number of issues remaining that we are working to resolve which includes pay.
Future bargaining dates are scheduled for July 2023. This session will be a joint negotiation including WTEG, WPEG and CNL. It will address all the outstanding non-monetary and pay issues.
