Mike Belanger- 2023 Election Autobiography

For 22 years, I have been working as part of the CAATS certification team at Nav Canada bringing to you the latest and greatest in air traffic software.  As a member of PIPSC during this time, I have seen many contracts negotiated.  Some good; some with frustration. 

In the past 10 years, I have been taking a greater interest in union activities, suggesting changes to Union bylaws that provided greater transparency during our union elections. I have decided it was time to take a bigger step to becoming part of the solution and am putting my name forward to become part of the executive as a member at large.

I am a supporter of a healthy work life balance, fair and reasonable contract negotiations and of having a union that listens to and supports its members; always acting in their best interests.
