Lise Godbout
With 18 years of experience supporting civil servants and their institutions, I am eager to serve at an advocacy level where I can help champion the health and wellness of our PIPSC members. Working alongside the national executive and colleagues from other sections offers the best opportunity to shape the future of the federal civil service and ensure our members’ needs are met. As a psychologist, I recognize the critical role our profession plays in employee well-being. Despite recent progress, recruitment and retention challenges for psychologists remain, and I am committed to keeping these issues at the forefront. Additionally, the absence of RCMP representation on the national executive in many years highlights the need for diverse perspectives, especially given current significant challenges and many advancements in public safety. I believe my experience can help ensure that the interests of those working with the RCMP are effectively represented during this pivotal time.
