Steward Recruitment ToolKit

The Steward Recruitment Digital Toolkit was developed to support and strengthen efforts to identify, recruit, and engage new stewards, while empowering them to take an active role in representing and connecting with PIPSC members. It includes a range of ready-to-use materials such as presentations, brochures, and posters to help with recruitment.

Become a PIPSC Steward Presentation

Become a PIPSC Steward Brochure

Looking to recruit new stewards in your workplace? Use the Become a PIPSC Steward presentation and brochure to start the conversation. These resources help you introduce what it means to be a steward, the process, the benefits, and the vital role stewards play in representing and engaging members. Stewards are the front line of member advocacy and union engagement.

Make sure to have copies of the brochure with you as a handout! With advance notice, PIPSC may be able to print the brochure in-house at their National Office. You can send your request to bettertogether@pipsc.ca.

“PIPSC and You” Presentation

Your Union. Your Voice Brochure

Offering the PIPSC 101 “PIPSC and You” Union 101 builds member engagement. A well-timed PIPSC 101 is an excellent opportunity to introduce an issue-based campaign in a way that feels organic and strategic.

Make sure to have copies of the brochure with you as a handout! With advance notice, PIPSC may be able to print the brochure in-house at their National Office. You can send your request to bettertogether@pipsc.ca.

Steward Posters

Use these posters on your union bulletin board to spark interest and start conversations. They are a simple and effective way to highlight what stewards do, why they matter, and how they represent members in the workplace. Posting them helps raise awareness, encourage participation, and inspire members to take the next step toward becoming a PIPSC Steward.

With advance notice, PIPSC may be able to print the posters in-house at their National Office. You can send your request to bettertogether@pipsc.ca.

The Better Together Toolkit has plenty of templates and tips and tricks to help you with other engagement efforts.
