National Steward Officer

The National Steward Officer (NSO) position was created for the purpose of ensuring the Steward Framework Project remains relevant, responsive and proactive to stewards’ needs.

The Steward Framework was designed by PIPSC to improve steward experience and engagement at a national level.

What to expect from the Steward Framework Project:

• an online steward resource tool giving you access to reference materials, case management, and guidance.
• different training streams for stewards depending on your desired role.
• supports such as mentorship and steward network communication.
• more opportunities to share what resources you want and need.

In addition to overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Steward Framework Project, the National Steward Officer will be the main point of contact for stewards regarding onboarding, training, support and development.

As the National Steward Officer, I am available to assist you in accessing and using the available tools, offering guidance on training and webinars, answering questions, and more. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact me at dsn_nso@pipsc.ca.
