Jun Liu - Biography

It is my honor to be PIPSC NAVCANADA group executive candidate.

My name is Jun Liu, Senior Enterprise Solution Architect in Enterprise Architecture team with 17 years in NAVCANADA and: 

  • 11+ years as west subgroup treasurer since the first AGM when subgroup was formed.
  • 11+ years as senior steward to help members on various issues.
  • engage and participate PIPSC events actively.

Steward is a very important role and an official PIPSC representative in workplace and represents all members within a specific area of jurisdiction. To better understand union policies & rules, members' rights & responsibilities, and learn to properly and effectively deal with different issues that PIPSC members might encounter, I have taken many advanced steward trainings in the past years. As a trained steward, I am willing to represent you on any workplace issues, such as consultation, grievance, etc.

I feel your frustration in the past years. As your group executive if elected, I will work closely with other executives and PIPSC representatives, stand firmly with you and fight for our rights and the issues that matter most to us.
