Jean Berube - RE Group

I am a PIPSC steward for 20 years in my work place and I have also been part of my local Labour Management Consultation Committee for the same period. Since 2013 I have been on the RE group Executive and the RE group collective agreement bargaining team.

In the past 3 years, I have focused my efforts in successfully getting faster approval for scientific conference travel in our collective agreement.

As a candidate for a new term in the RE Group executive, I will focus my energy on strengthening the language on “sabbatical” leave in our collective agreement and increasing our Science Capacity by seeking an increase in research funding in federal laboratories.
