Jamie GoodMurphy for NCR Representative

Jamie GoodMurphyFor the past 18 years I have worked in naval engineering, first in uniform and now as a public servant, herding the Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels through projects, budgets, and the occasional system that insists on developing a personality of its own.

I am a very active steward and President of the largest NR Sub-Group of federal engineers in Canada, representing well over 1,200 of our members. This means I spend much of my time listening, advocating, and translating acronyms into things people can actually use. I also serve on the NR Group Bargaining Team, where I work to ensure that “fair compensation” is more than just a cheerful slogan.

Why run for the National NR Executive? Because land surveyors, architects, and engineers deserve strong, steady voices at the national table, and because our workplace is more than the sum of its contracts and committees. We are federal professionals. We make tough decisions every day that demand respect and protection. As a Positive Space Ambassador, I also believe inclusion and respect are not accessories but essentials.

And if elected, I promise at least to keep the paperwork interesting.
