The WTEG bargaining team met on October 11 and 12 to review the outstanding items in this round of negotiations: annual economic increases, career and skills development, and work permit authorizer were among the last items to be resolved. We also agreed to include a letter of Understanding for further discussions on hours of work and Appendix B level descriptors.
We will be in contact shortly with details on an all-member information session meeting where you will be provided all the details on the tentative deal and about ratification.
The WTEG team would like to add its support to the WPEG team which is still in the process of finalizing their negotiations.
