RMG Elections 2018 - Lynn Morris

National RMG NCR

I am seeking your support for the position for the National RMG NCR representative.

As AV National Executive Secretary, member of the Bargaining Team, AGM Committee and Secretary of the PSPC Branch, I have strong leadership skills which will allow me to help ensure a strong organization within the region

I have participated in various fairs and conferences; Branch Alternation, Mental Health, New PSCP Recruitment, CIPMM, in which we promoted PIPSC values and ethics.

As an Adult Educator, facilitator and entrepreneur, I will voice and express regional concerns at the Guild meetings.

I have organized meetings, AGM's, elections, lunch and learns, and always willing to assist with any other PIPSC's events.

As a representative of the AV National Finance Committee, I understand budgetary limitations when attending meetings and functions, and will advise members, either electronically or in person, of national and regional developments in a timely manner.

I will provide ongoing liaison between the Guild , the NCR and Regional Chapters, respecting the right of the Chapter to deal with any other officer of the Guild.

I will put my knowledge, training, enthusiasm, tenacity and commitment to PIPSC and the RMG, to represent all members, being a sounding board, providing information and representing the Institute's views at meetings.

I have made volunteering part of my life, as such being a volunteer for PIPSC has been one of my most rewarding experiences. I intend to continue my commitment to serve the retired members, work towards greater membership engagement and be a strong voice for all the RMG issues.
