You’re invited to VANCOVER ISLAND NR SUB-GROUP AGM 2024

The Vancouver Island NR Sub-Group will hold its 2024 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Four Mile Brew Pub, 199 Island Hwy, Victoria, BC V9B 1G1, with dinner served concurrently.
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow professionals from various federal departments in a relaxed social setting, where you can discuss issues and exchange ideas on topics of shared interest. We follow standard AGM Agenda items and this year, and we are pleased to welcome NR Group President Gary Corbett, who will share insights from his role. Sunny Wang will provide a brief repeat of Lunch and Learn presentation that many of you missed on the topic of contracting out, De-professionalization and PIPSC Org structure review.
We will also be electing Sub-Group Executives for a new term. The positions listed below are open for election, and we encourage you to consider getting involved. You can nominate yourself, a colleague, or forward your name to me, and I’ll be happy to submit it on your behalf. Additionally, our current bylaw, which has been renewed and approved by the national bylaw committee, will require member approval during the AGM.

- President (2 Year Term)
- (1) Member At Large (2 Year Term)
- Secretary (2 Year Term)
